IF I COULD GIVE A HUNDRED STARS I WOULD. I started going to Peter about 8 years ago with migraines and stomach issues. Peter exceeded my expectations. He really helped me a lot and to this day has been a very important person in my life.

Before I was diagnosed from my surgeon with Endometriosis, Peter had told me he thought that was a possibility. It had taken my doctor two years to figure that out. I have been dealing with Endometriosis for 4 years now and if I had not been getting treated by Peter, I honestly do not know what I would have done. My pain level has gone down dramatically down with acupuncture and chinese herbs. He is a very good listener and a genuine acupuncturist. You can tell he wants the best for his patients and will do anything to make you comfortable.

Just before my husband and I conceived my daughter I began using Peter’s services and I continued to visit him regularly throughout my pregnancy. He helped me through the nausea and fatigue of the 1st trimester, the backaches and hemorrhoids in the 2nd trimester, and the fatigue (again) and general discomfort in the 3rd trimester. Finally when it came to the time when my doctor insisted that I be induced, Peter met me at the hospital and assisted in my induction. He also worked with my husband during my pregnancy and at the hospital teaching him acupressure points that would help with pain management through labor. All of which were extremely helpful. After 12 hours of labor I delivered a healthy baby girl Ava Elizabeth, without the use of pain medication! Peter and staff have been patient and caring over the past few years I have been treated at Eastern Healing. I originally sought support for chronic headaches and full body pain. At that time I did not know the core cause. After several months of testing I was diagnosed with chronic lyme disease. Peter altered my treatment to support my immune system, and little by little, things started to get better. After a treatment I would feel a sense of well being and for a few days afterward my energy levels and clarity of mind were moving towards more "normal" levels. During my treatment at Eastern Healing, Peter has always been open to trying new things and really listens to what is going on in my life. I have talked to acupuncturists around the country that specialize in treating chronic Lyme disease and Peter is using the same techniques on me, so I know that I am in good hands. My last few months of treatment have involved adding wet cupping, moxibustion and electrical stimulation to my needling. So far, the effects have been outstanding and I am hopeful for the future. I have gone from being bed ridden with 24 hour headaches to working a PT internship to complete my Masters degree as well as a PT job. A nice side effect of treatment was normalization of my menstrual cycle. Chronic Lyme disease is no longer defining who I am and Peter is part of my Dream Team of healers.

I have been suffering from migraine headaches for over 20 years. As I have gotten older, the headaches have become more frequent and more severe. I saw a neurologist whose answer was to prescribe additional medication. A friend of the family recommended Peter Harvey. I finally decided to give it a try. I have been treating for about five months and have gone from having 22 headaches a month to 1-2 a week that can be controlled with over the counter medication. I am no longer taking prescription medication and am very happy with the results.
